Sparrow Infrastructure is a nonpartisan, non-advocacy group bringing together DC policymakers and Bay Area technologists. Our events bridge the physical and cultural gap between the people governing emerging technologies and those who build them, so they can solve technical policy issues together.
We started Sparrow because we believe America will face a political and technological crisis, and that poor communication and a lack of technical expertise may hamper her response. We help these communities build the understanding and trust they will need to respond well together.

Takeoff is a nonpartisan conference dedicated to establishing dialogue between elected officials, public servants, and those on the frontier of artificial intelligence. It will bring together AI lab staff, public servants, and other leading voices in a forum designed to encourage debate and exploration, with a focus on the governance questions that each finds most pressing.
